Campeones Mundiales de Tango Salon 2010

I always thought they would do very well in the tango world (see my post back in March), and now they are the new Campeones in Tango Salon. Congrats to
Sebastian Gimenez (18 year old) y María Ines Bogado
They are the sixth Campeones trained by Carlos y Rosa Perez
Thanks for confirming this. I was not sure if they were the same couple you filmed at the Sunderland practica. Yeah, they already looked nice at the practica. Well done to them!

When competitors from other countries learn that the champions are usually training by Carlos Perez or Mario Morales, they will either sign up for coaching with one of them or save money by staying home.
I don’t know how long Sebastian has been dancing, but he isn’t better than all the others in the competition. I can’t understand why an 18-year-old is given the title.
I got a close look at the feet of Maria Ines — she never had her feet flat on the floor. That’s basic in all ballroom dancing. The salon judges were seated on stage to see that. They just missed it.

It is always a saddening experience reading the replies by “jantango”. So much bitterness so many sour grapes.I can see why you don´t understand how Sebastian Jimenez could be given the title. You keep staring at his age , not his talent or his musicality.
